On Tuesday, the Boston Red Sox<\/a> hosted the Milwaukee Brewers<\/a> at Fenway Park for the second game of their series.<\/p>\n

The Red Sox won by a score of 3-2 to tie up the series at 1-1.<\/p>\n

Over the offseason, the Red Sox acquired Sonny Gray<\/a> from the St. Louis Cardinals<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s now been announced that another player has been added to complete the deal.<\/p>\n

The Red Sox wrote (on Monday):<\/a> \u201cThe #RedSox today sent minor league RHP Patrick Galle<\/a> to the St. Louis Cardinals<\/a>, completing the November 25, 2025 trade for RHP Sonny Gray.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gray\u2019s MLB Career<\/p>\n

Gray has also had stints with the Athletics, Yankees<\/a>, Twins<\/a> and Reds over 14 MLB seasons.<\/p>\n

He is coming off a year where he went 14-8 with a 4.28 ERA in 32 games for the Cardinals.<\/p>\n

So far, Gray has gone 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA in two games this season.<\/p>\n

At 36, the three-time MLB All-Star will still be a valuable arm for the Red Sox.<\/p>\n

The Red Sox have gotten off to a very slow start to the 2026 season with a 3-8 record in 11 games.<\/p>\n
