TORONTO\u2014As the Los Angeles Dodgers prepared for Game Two of a three-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays, the team announced that veteran utility infielder Miguel Rojas<\/a> had been scratched from tonight\u2019s lineup.<\/p>\n Hyeseong Kim<\/a> was announced as Rojas\u2019 replacement at shortstop and batting eighth.<\/p>\n The Dodgers announced that Rojas was scratched from the lineup to tend to a family matter.<\/p>\n The Dodgers have been hit hard by the injury bug to start the 2026 season, and that was made even worse earlier this road trip when All-Star shortstop Mookie Betts<\/a> was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right oblique issue.<\/p>\n Rojas was set to play a massive part in the replacement of Betts, splitting time with Kim at the premier infield position, playing mostly against right-handed pitching.<\/p>\n Instead of Blue Jays ace Kevin Gausman<\/a> on the mound, Hyeseong Kim will get his second consecutive start at short since being recalled from Triple-A on Sunday.<\/p>\n More Dodgers Coverage:<\/p>\n
