Like, you shouldn’t even still be reading this intro. Let’s get to the picks!

Make your DraftKings MLB DFS picks here: MLB $200K Bat Flip [$50K to 1st]

PITCHER

Value

Sean Burke, Chicago White Sox vs. Baltimore Orioles, $6,500 – After a decent rookie campaign, Burke has gotten off to a fantastic start in his sophomore season. It’s only been two outings, but the right-hander has pitched to a 3.23 xERA and a sterling 1.05 FIP, thanks primarily to a 12:1 K/BB ratio. In his last appearance against the Blue Jays, Burke tossed six innings and struck out seven, allowing only a single earned run. What more could you ask for from a man with a salary this close to $6K? The Orioles’ lineup has a lot of name value, but the team has struggled through the opening two weeks of 2026, registering a robust 26.5% strikeout rate with an underwhelming .117 ISO. Burke should be able to piece together another nice start on Wednesday afternoon.

INFIELD

Stud

Ketel Marte, Arizona Diamondbacks at New York Mets, $5,100 – Marte has looked quite like himself in the early going of 2026, but a matchup with David Peterson ($7,000) could be the cure. It’s not even that Peterson is an awful pitcher or anything, it’s just that’s he’s left-handed. Marte has been an animal against southpaws the past few years, slashing .311/.383/.564 within the split with a 156 wRC+ since the beginning of 2023. That wRC+ is the fourth-highest qualified mark in that span of time, trailing only Aaron Judge, Yordan Alvarez and Yandy Diaz. Not too shabby!

Value

Willson Contreras, Boston Red Sox vs. Milwaukee Brewers, $4,000 – I’m not sure if Contreras’ hatred of the Brewers counts as “narrative street” on Wednesday, but the converted backstop has reached base eight times in the first two games of this series. Hate is a powerful thing, I guess. For the season as a whole, Contreras sports a 163 wRC+ over his 48 plate appearances. He’s been good, and he’s always been at his best in matchups with left-handed opponents. He’ll draw one today in the form of Shane Drohan ($6,900), a 27-year-old former Red Sox prospect who will be making his MLB debut. While Milwaukee’s pitching development program is second to none, I’ll take my chances with Boston’s bats on Wednesday.

OUTFIELD

Stud

Yordan Alvarez, Houston Astros at Colorado Rockies, $6,500 – There might not be a hitter who is off to a hotter start in 2026 than Alvarez. The former All-Star has four home runs in his first 54 plate appearances, yet the most impressive stat might be his otherworldly .606 expected wOBA. Heck, Alvarez has already been intentionally walked four times this season, and I can’t say I blame the opposing managers for their cowardice. Now, Alvarez will draw an opposite-hand matchup with Michael Lorenzen ($5,500), who allowed nine earned runs in his first outing at Coors Field as a member of the Rockies. It’s early, but opposing LHBs are slugging .917 off Lorenzen. Woof.

Value

Jordan Walker, St. Louis Cardinals at Washington Nationals, $3,000 – I can not believe that Walker remains this cheap on DraftKings. What does the former top prospect have to do to get a little respect? It took a couple years longer than expected, but it does appear like the 23-year-old’s breakout is finally happening. Across 44 plate appearances, Walker is slashing .300/.364/.600 with a 182 wRC+ and 100th percentile average exit velocity (98.3). He’s dangerous in a vacuum. He’s especially dangerous going up against Miles Mikolas ($6,000), who is totally washed. Mikolas has already allowed 17 runs in his 9.1 innings of work in 2026. It’s so, so bad.

Garion Thorne gives his top studs and value plays for today’s 10-game featured fantasy baseball slate on DraftKings.…

[2276
5,2291,4,1586,3719
0":"post-670419","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-mlb-draft","8":"tag-baseball","9":"tag-major-league-baseball-draft","10":"tag-mlb","11":"tag-mlb-draft","12":"tag-rail
["GET
