Marcus Stroman’s little brother Jayden has a promising baseball future ahead of him.<\/p>\n

But recently, he had a moment on the pitcher’s mound that he’d like to forget.<\/p>\n

Jayden was in the game for the University of Virginia against in-state foe James Madison, and there was a dribbler hit back toward the mound.<\/p>\n

He fielded the baseball fine, but then he slipped.<\/p>\n

And then while seated on his backside, Jayden didn’t just take the loss. He still tried to throw to first, and he airmailed it by a mile.<\/p>\n

A run came home, and Jayden went a little bit viral for something he would’ve likely preferred no one ever see.<\/p>\n

Jayden is just in his freshman college season and has a long way to go, but he displayed immense ability in high school that gives potential to eventually be a solid draft pick to MLB.<\/p>\n

Older brother Marcus is currently a free agent after spending last season with the New York Yankees<\/a>. The long-time Toronto Blue Jays<\/a> and New York Mets<\/a> pitcher may not have much time left in the major leagues.<\/p>\n

But if things go the way the Stroman family is hoping, there’ll be another one of their own making his way to the majors soon enough.<\/p>\n

For now, Jayden will simply put on the right mindset and try to bounceback from an inexplicable, odd play for Virginia.<\/p>\n
