{"id":671705,"date":"2026-04-09T15:06:22","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T15:06:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/671705\/"},"modified":"2026-04-09T15:06:22","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T15:06:22","slug":"orioles-reveal-camden-yards-inspired-2026-mlb-city-connect-uniforms-in-new-video-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/671705\/","title":{"rendered":"Orioles Reveal Camden Yards-Inspired 2026 MLB City Connect Uniforms in New Video, Photos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">The Baltimore Orioles officially revealed their City Connect uniforms for the 2026 MLB season on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Showcased in photos and videos on MLB and the Orioles&#8217; official X accounts, the uniforms feature cream-colored jerseys, pants and hats with green and orange accents throughout:<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">&#8220;BMORE&#8221; is emblazoned across the chest with the signature oriole logo perched on top, and a new, orange &#8220;B&#8221; logo is featured prominently on the hat.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Per MLB.com&#8217;s <a class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-inherit MuiLink-root MuiLink-underlineAlways MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__ui__link__medium_strong css-lu48cp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/news\/orioles-release-city-connect-2-0-jerseys\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Jake Rill<\/a>, the unis are mostly a love letter to Oriole Park at Camden Yards, which opened in 1992 and remains one of the most beloved ballparks in Major League Baseball.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">The color scheme of the uniforms largely represents Camden Yards, including the signature green seats.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">There is also a special patch on one of the sleeves that is unique to Camden Yards, as it mimics the home run plaques on Eutaw Street.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Any player who hits a home run onto Eutaw Street receives a plaque that includes their name and the distance of the home run. According to Rill, it has happened 134 times in the history of Camden Yards.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">The home run plaque-inspired patch features &#8220;Baltimore Orioles&#8221; and the phrase, &#8220;From the stoop to the yard.&#8221; It also includes the number 410, which represents Baltimore&#8217;s area code.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">One aspect of the uniforms that far predates Camden Yards is the hat logo, which is inspired by the logo utilized by the Baltimore Baseball Club in the 1890s.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">The new City Connect uniforms will make their debut when the Orioles host the San Francisco Giants on Friday night, and the O&#8217;s <a class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-inherit MuiLink-root MuiLink-underlineAlways MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__ui__link__medium_strong css-lu48cp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/orioles\/fans\/city-connect\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">announced<\/a> that they will be worn for every Friday home game this season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Baltimore missed the playoffs last season with a 75-87 record after making back-to-back postseason appearances in 2023 and 2024, but amid a 6-6 start this season, the Orioles are looking to make their return to October baseball.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Baltimore Orioles officially revealed their City Connect uniforms for the 2026 MLB season on Thursday.
