Make your\u00a0DraftKings<\/a>\u00a0MLB DFS picks here:\u00a0MLB $200K Bat Flip [$50K to 1st] (Night<\/a>)<\/p>\n PITCHER<\/p>\n Stud<\/p>\n Tyler Glasnow, Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Texas Rangers, $9,800 \u2014 Sure, Tyler may be made of glass, having pitched over 100 innings in a season just three times. That said, when he\u2019s on the mound, Glasnow is electric. He averages 96 mph on the fastball and has a career 30.9% strikeout rate. Glasnow has gone six innings in both starts this season, posting a 1.43 FIP with a robust 25.5% K-BB%. Now he faces a Rangers team that is 11th in strikeouts and 21st in wOBA.<\/p>\n Value<\/p>\n Walker Buehler, San Diego Padres vs. Colorado Rockies, $6,900 \u2014 Buehler? Buehler? Buehler? I wish Walker would take the day off so I don\u2019t have to consider him, but here we are. Buehler used to be stud back in the day, but injuries have sapped both the velocity and strikeout prowess. At least the strikeout rate is 21.2% after being in the teens the last two seasons, but he\u2019s only pitched 6.2 innings so far. The FIP is 5.73 and the walk rate is an abhorrent 15.2%. In addition, he\u2019s thrown only 72 and 61 pitches in the first two outings. Man, I\u2019m really talking myself out of this play. Then I remember that the Rockies are coming to town.<\/p>\n OUTFIELD<\/p>\n Stud<\/p>\n James Wood, Washington Nationals at Milwaukee Brewers, $5,400 \u2014 The strikeout rate is 30.5% and the slash is only .216\/.322\/.510, but Wood has a .294 ISO, a 13.6% walk rate, four home runs, 11 runs, 10 RBI and a stolen base in 59 plate appearances. And he\u2019s hitting lead off. He has the pedigree and is only 23 years old, but is a full-grown 6-foot-6 and 234 pounds. I faded him coming into this season due to the draft cost, but he\u2019s heated up and is making me look silly. Well, I make myself look silly. Over the last four games, Wood has seven hits, with three of those of the home run variety.<\/p>\n Cedric Mullins, Tampa Bay Rays vs. New York Yankees, $2,700 \u2014 Mullins has been awful to start the season, slashing .122\/.159\/.220 with a .098 ISO. He does have one home run and two stolen bases in 44 plate appearances. The BABIP is only .138 and Mullins is a career .172 ISO hitter, so he\u2019s going to hit some out of the yard at some point. Or he gets cut, but we will deal with that if it happens. Luis Gil will be making his season debut for the Yankees. Last season, he had control problems and posted a 4.79 FIP and 7.1% K-BB% against left-handed batters.<\/p>\n INFIELD<\/p>\n Stud<\/p>\n Bobby Witt Jr., Kansas City Royals vs. Chicago White Sox, $6,000 \u2014 Witt is only slashing .273\/.365\/.295 with a .023 ISO to start the season. He has a career .211 ISO. There\u2019s a good chance he gets his first homer of the season on Friday, as Davis Martin is allowing an average exit velocity of 93.7 mph and a hard hit rate of 59.3%. If Witt doesn\u2019t send one over the wall, he has seven stolen bases already on the season, so there are multiple paths to providing fantasy goodies. <\/p>\n Value<\/p>\n Juan Brito, Cleveland Guardians at Atlanta Braves, $2,300 \u2014 With Gabriel Arias suffering a hamstring injury, Brito was called up on Tuesday and promptly got to work, going 4-for-8 with two doubles, a run and an RBI while striking out only once. Throughout his minor league career, Brito displayed excellent plate discipline with some power and speed. In Triple-A during the 2024 season, Brito produced 21 home runs, 92 runs, 84 RBI and 13 stolen bases in 652 plate appearances.
