Through the opening stretch of the 2026 season, Guerrero Jr. has yet to hit top form, currently hitting .268 with 11 hits, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored in 12 games.<\/p>\n

While he remains a centerpiece in Toronto\u2019s offense, his production has been relatively quiet compared to his usual standards. He did record his first home run of the season on Saturday against the Chicago White Sox<\/a>, but overall, it has been a measured start for the Blue Jays\u2019 first baseman.<\/p>\n

Toronto does not return to action until Friday, when they host the Tampa Bay Rays<\/a> and Guerrero Jr. used that off day to step away from baseball. On Thursday, he made a high-profile appearance at Scotiabank Arena for the NBA<\/a> matchup between the Toronto Raptors<\/a> and the Miami Heat<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Guerrero Jr. has become one of the most recognizable athletes in Toronto since debuting with the Blue Jays as a highly touted prospect.
