They will visit a Reds team that’s off to a strong start thanks largely to its pitching. Cincinnati’s team ERA is just above 3.00 entering the weekend and Friday’s starter Chase Burns is a big reason for that. The No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft has allowed just six hits and one run in 11 innings across two starts while striking out 16.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While Elly De La Cruz and Eugenio Suarez are the best-known Reds hitters, third baseman Sal Stewart has paced the team so far, reaching base in nearly half his plate appearances and posting a 1.154 OPS with four doubles and three homers.\u00a0<\/p>\n
