He\u2019s got two this season in 11 games with Louisville.<\/p>\n<p>JJ Bleday remains hot, picking up two more hits on Thursday. He\u2019s hitting .316\/.458\/.526 on the season with six extra-base hits in his 11 games played.<\/p>\n<p>Rece Hinds rejoined the Bats on Thursday. He went 0-3 with a walk and a run scored in the game.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Top Pitch Velocity:\u00a0Zach Maxwell \u2013 101.1 MPH (ball)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Top Exit Velocity:\u00a0Michael Toglia \u2013 108.8 MPH (single)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Furthest Hit Baseball:\u00a0Michael Chavis \u2013 450 feet (home run)<\/p>\n<p>The Chattanooga Lookouts won 6-2. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.milb.com\/gameday\/818151\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Box Score<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Game Notes<\/p>\n<p>Birmingham had a perfect game going with one out in the 5th inning, but Ruben Ibarra ruined that with a home run. Michael Trautwein followed up with one of his own to make it 2-0. They would score four runs in the 8th and seemingly put the game away but the Barons scored two in the bottom of the inning and had two men on but couldn\u2019t get any closer than that.<\/p>\n<p>The win moved to Chattanooga to 6-0. That\u2019s the best record in minor league baseball \u2013 tied with Lakeland in the Florida State League. Eugene, a High-A team in the Northwest League is also undefeated, but they are 5-0.<\/p>\n<p>Alexander Vargas kept his average on the year at .500. He\u2019s 9-18 with a triple, two walks, and two strikeouts.<\/p>\n<p>Leo Balcazar remained hot, too. He\u2019s now 9-23 (.391) with two doubles, a home run, seven runs batted in, four walks, and five strikeouts in his six games played.<\/p>\n<p>Carlos Jorge was placed on the 7-day injured list prior to the game. Last night he was hit in the head by a 93 MPH fastball and exited the game after he initially remained in the game to run the bases.<\/p>\n<p>The Dayton Dragons won 7-4. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.milb.com\/gameday\/820098\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Box Score<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Game Notes<\/p>\n<p>Dayton trailed 3-0 entering the bottom of the 4th inning but put up three runs and tied things up. Two innings later they would rally for a 4-run inning to take the lead and hold onto it.<\/p>\n<p>Yerlin Confidan drove in four runs for the first time since June 24th of last season.<\/p>\n<p>Things keep rolling for Alfredo Duno. With his hit and two walks he\u2019s now hitting .333\/.522\/.533 through the first five games of the season. Duno has seven walks and four strikeouts.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan McCrystal has only played in three games with Dayton so far but he\u2019s gotten on base twice in each of those games.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Top Pitch Velocity:\u00a0Luke Hayden \u2013 98.9 MPH<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Top Exit Velocity:\u00a0Kien Vu \u2013 106.9 MPH (groundout)<\/p>\n<p>The Daytona Tortugas lost 10-2. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.milb.com\/gameday\/820494\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Box Score<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Game Notes<\/p>\n<p>It has been a tough start for the Tortugas this season as they fall to 1-5 on the year. The team is hitting just .161 and the ERA for the pitching staff is 6.18. Daytona was town 10-0 before they would score two runs in the top of the 8th inning.<\/p>\n<p>Kyle Henley had himself a nice game, picking up three hits and stealing another base. Last year he stole 57 bases in 99 games. He\u2019s at four through six games this season.
