The 19-year-old shortstop has been highly touted since the Pittsburgh Pirates selected him ninth overall in the 2024 MLB Draft, and Topps wasted little time penciling him into its 2024 Bowman Draft<\/a> product, opening the door for his \u201c1st Bowman\u201d base, Chrome, and autograph cards<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As a crucial issue in any baseball player\u2019s card portfolio, variations of Griffin\u2019s \u201c1st Bowman\u201d card unsurprisingly dominate the list of his most expensive cards \u2014 including a new high watermark that was realized on his debut date.<\/p>\n

A flurry of PSA 10 examples of Griffin\u2019s 2024 Bowman Chrome Draft Autographs Gold Refractor (\/50) sold between February 27 and April 3, with five total examples changing hands with price tags between $16,000 and $18,750. The highest of those sold via eBay on his major-league debut date.
