Only four of the runs yielded by starter Braylon Doughty and three relievers were earned. Doughty gave up four runs (two earned), on five hits in 2 1\/3 innings. He struck out one and did not allow a walk.<\/p>\n
The Captains were limited to six hits and struck out 16 times. Aaron Walton, Bennett Thompson and Luke Hill each drove in a run. Walton had two hits, and Thompson drew three walks.<\/p>\n
Guardians 2025 first-round pick Jace LaViolette doubled for the second night in a row.<\/p>\n
The Captains won the first two games of the series. But they have dropped the last two, giving up seven runs in each.<\/p>\n
