{"id":674251,"date":"2026-04-12T17:18:17","date_gmt":"2026-04-12T17:18:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/674251\/"},"modified":"2026-04-12T17:18:17","modified_gmt":"2026-04-12T17:18:17","slug":"marlins-paying-the-price-for-trade-with-yankees-involving-2-81-era-lefty-pitcher","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/674251\/","title":{"rendered":"Marlins &#8216;paying the price&#8217; for trade with Yankees involving 2.81 ERA lefty pitcher"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportingnews.com\/ca\/mlb\/miami-marlins\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Miami Marlins<\/a> swung a big trade this offseason with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportingnews.com\/ca\/mlb\/chicago-cubs\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chicago Cubs<\/a> and another with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportingnews.com\/ca\/mlb\/new-york-yankees\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New York Yankees<\/a>, involving two of their starting pitchers.<\/p>\n<p>While Sandy Alcantara and Eury Perez stayed in Miami, Edward Cabrera was sent to Chicago, landing a package headlined by Owen Caissie.
