If you haven\u2019t seen the video yet, there was a shocking altercation that happened over the weekend between Minnesota Twins owner, chairman and CEO Tom Pohlad<\/a>, and a Twins fan sitting directly behind home plate, in the front few rows of the Legends Club at Target Field.<\/p>\n In the video (below), you see a Twins fan approach the third-generation owner upset over a previous interaction that happened between the two. She is accusing Pohlad of calling her different iterations of \u201cclassless\u201d, over a stocking cap she was wearing that had a Twins logo on the front and \u201cSELL THE TEAM\u201d on the back.<\/p>\n A #MnTwins<\/a> Twins fan wearing a “Sell the Team” hat got into it with Tom Pohlad for calling her classless<\/p>\n \ud83c\udfa5: Insta\/northstarchronicles507 pic.twitter.com\/mc7TzVxBnW<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 10,000 Takes (@10k_Takes) April 12, 2026<\/a> <\/p>\n On Monday, Minnesota Sports Fan was able to connect with the fan featured in the video above \u2014 Andi Wentworth \u2014 who helped us fill in the blanks on exactly what happened the other night at Target Field.<\/p>\n ** Of note: Late this morning, in an attempt to get Tom Pohlad\u2019s side of this story, we reached out to Twins public relations director Dustin Morse directly. As of 6:15 p.m., we have yet to hear back.<\/p>\n What led to the above confrontation between Tom Pohlad and MN Twins fan?<\/p>\n In back and forth messages with MSF, Mrs. Wentworth confirmed that she was the woman seen in the video above. She bought two all-inclusive Champions Club seats directly behind home plate, after she found a deal online selling the tickets for $216 each. <\/p>\n With her husband out of town, the self-described middle-class mom decided to \u201csplurge\u201d on the tickets as a way to surprise her 13-year-old son, who had never been in such premium seating. It was only her third time ever sitting in the beautiful people seats.<\/p>\n When they initially sat down, Andi is adamant that she didn\u2019t know who it was sitting in front of her. Only after her son noticed Tom Pohlad allegedly turning around and glaring at them repeatedly did she do some research and realize who he was.<\/p>\n \u201cHand to God, I didn\u2019t know who he was! I was watching the game and not paying attention, until my son told me the guy in front of us keeps turning around and giving us dirty looks. I didn\u2019t think much about it \u2013 because I cheer loud and some people don\u2019t like it. But then, I noticed the dirty looks when we were just sitting there. So I reached out to [a friend] and [did some research on Google] and learned it was Tom Pohlad.\u201d<\/p>\n Related: MN Twins Manager Tapped to Help with All-Star Team<\/a><\/p>\n At that point, the TC logo on her stocking cap was front facing (which can be confirmed on the Twins.TV broadcast from that day).<\/p>\n However, once she too became aware of Tom\u2019s uncomfortable glares, the longtime Minnesota Twins fan decided to turn her hat around so \u201cSell The Team\u201d was front and center.<\/p>\n When Tom Pohlad glares turned to \u201cclassless\u201d words<\/p>\n Then, right after she posed for the infamous photo featured at the top of this article, Pohlad couldn\u2019t take it anymore, crying out for Andi to \u201chave some class\u201d and \u201cget some more class\u201d \u2014 a meltdown that was not caught on video but has been confirmed by eyewitnesses at Target Field..<\/p>\n \u201c\u201cSell The Team\u201d was towards the back and I only spun it around after he was hell bent on making us uncomfortable \u2013 to return the favor. Watched the initial interaction where he lit her up, and watched this a few innings later. <\/p>\n She didn\u2019t appreciate him yelling at her and calling her classless in from other kids. She told him that in this video.<\/p>\n \u2014 D6 Transfer Portal (@D6TranferPortal) April 13, 2026<\/a> <\/p>\n While it\u2019s difficult to hear the audio of the original video at the top of this article, Pohlad does seem to confirm<\/a> Andi\u2019s accusations in the video above, and she was incredibly open in her messages back and forth with MSF.<\/p>\n Andi fully admits that Tom\u2019s meltdown may have been the result of her turning her Minnesota Twins hat around. However, it\u2019s pretty that she did not go to Target Field looking to start a Pohlad confrontation.<\/p>\n From everything we have discovered, it all started with Tom being way too sensitive over a hat that most people probably didn\u2019t notice.
