The game has been scheduled for launch on July 15, 2026, and will release on PC and PlayStation 5.

Konami shared eBaseball: Pro Spirit 2026 in a trailer this week. It shows off a clean-looking baseball sim and gameplay, showcasing players and stadiums from around Japan.

The deeper details of eBaseball: Pro Spirit 2026 also look bountiful. Besides being able to handle any number of official teams of real players from the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) league, fans will also be able to create their own players, design teams, engage in online play against other squads, and explore robust career and coaching modes.

The career mode is said to span a 30-year career, allowing players to take a character from a relative unknown to an ace in the world of professional baseball. You can also take on coaching duties where you’ll take over leadership of a high school team and guide them to victory all the way up to Japan’s Koshien national high school baseball championship.

eBaseball: Pro Spirit 2026 visuals and gameplay look promising, and it’s sorely needed in a field where we’ve had little more than MLB: The Show and a revived Backyard Baseball carrying the mantle. Stay tuned to the eBaseball topic leading up to its launch in July 2026.

Shacknews staff does not use generative artificial intelligence (AI) in their content.
