On Wednesday, the Philadelphia Phillies<\/a> lost to the Chicago Cubs<\/a> by a score of 11-2.<\/p>\n

They went 1-2 in the series.<\/p>\n

The Phillies will now open up a new series with the Atlanta Braves<\/a> (on Friday) at home.<\/p>\n

As the season moves forward, it\u2019s worth noting that Phillies star Kyle Schwarber<\/a> is closing in on exciting MLB<\/a> history.<\/p>\n

He needs just four home runs to become the 106th player<\/a> to hit 350 for their career.<\/p>\n

Schwarber\u2019s MLB Career<\/p>\n

Schwarber was the fourth pick in the 2014 MLB Draft out of Indiana.<\/p>\n

He spent the first six years of his career with the Chicago Cubs, winning the 2016 World Series Championship over the Cleveland Guardians<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He is currently in the middle of his fifth season playing for the Phillies.<\/p>\n

Over 1,309 career games, the 33-year-old is batting .231 with 346 home runs, 796 RBI\u2019s, 812 runs and 37 stolen bases.<\/p>\n

The Phillies have had a slow start to the 2026 season.<\/p>\n

They are 8-10 in 18 games, which has them as the fourth-place team in the National League East.<\/p>\n
