Washington is three games back of the NL East-leading Atlanta Braves after splitting a four-game series on the road against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Giants have already had two four-game losing streaks to start the season, but they are coming off a win against the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday. That victory helped avoid a five-game losing streak and from getting swept by the Reds in Cincy. San Francisco is already 7.5 games back of the NL West-leading Los Angeles Dodgers with a 7-12 record. The Giants scored all of their runs in the seventh inning with a rally started by Matt Chapman, who had an RBI double. The game ended in the benches clearing after reliever Erik Miller struck out Reds first baseman Sal Stewart to end the game. Stewart took exception to Miller celebrating, and the players chirped from there. San Francisco will try to get another start like Roupp\u2019s from their ace, Logan Webb, who gets the start tonight. The righty has struggled a bit so far this season with a 1-2 record and a 5.25 ERA.
