I felt good at the end of last year. But (I’m) just seeing the ball and staying with a routine and having a good game plan up there,” Trout told Kirschner.

Trout went 6 for 16 in the series with five home runs, nine RBIs, and eight runs. Significantly, the explosion allowed him to move his marks across the board. Trout is currently batting .246 with seven home runs, 16 RBIs, and 21 runs. Additionally, his OPS is now at 1.010, similar to where it was when he was setting records early in his career.

Trout set a Yankee Stadium record for a visiting player, and he was a major reason why the Halos were able to earn a split. It was a good week for the former All-Star, as he was able to capitalize on pitches that were in his range. After Trout struggled to start the season, he is starting to heat up.

It’s been a positive vibe for Trout, who has endured numerous injuries over the years. If he can stay healthy this season, he can potentially reach marks he has not seen in nearly a decade. Trout’s next chance to keep raising his stock is this weekend against the San Diego Padres.

The Los Angeles Angels just finished a four-game series against the New York Yankees, splitting the series.
