Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts and his wife, Brianna, welcomed their third child<\/a>, Khari, in March, and the family just released new photos of the newest addition to the Betts family.<\/p>\n

Mookie stepped away from the team back in March during Spring Training for the birth of Khari, leaving the Arizona complex and heading over to Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

He ended up returning shortly after and continuing his regular work, ramping up a bit before returning to the Cactus League play.<\/p>\n

Betts mentioned on a live stream with Adin Ross that he would not play for Team USA in the World Baseball Classic<\/a> due to the impending birth of his third child.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t now,\u201d he said. \u201cMy wife, we\u2019re having the kid. The baby\u2019s due right in the middle of the WBC. She said she would divorce me if I wasn\u2019t there for the kid.\u201d<\/p>\n

Betts also has two other children, a girl and a boy, Kynlee Ivory Betts and Kaj Lyn Betts. Knylee, his daughter, is seven years old, while Kaj is only two years old.<\/p>\n

The shortstop has been open about how his kids inspire him on the field and add an extra level of motivation to his game.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a little bit easier to go to work and know that you have something to play for, someone that\u2019s really depending on you outside of you and your wife,\u201d Betts said in the past about his children.<\/p>\n

The Dodgers are having a lot of children<\/p>\n

Over the offseason and Spring, Kike Hernandez, Max Muncy, Clayton Kershaw, and Kyle Tucker all welcomed new children into their families, making the clubhouse appear like a de facto daycare for the players.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve got a lot of little ones running around the clubhouse and everyone right now,\u201d Tucker said about all of the new kids being around the team.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s fun to see and share this experience with everyone, and have them come out to BP and the clubhouse and everything, it\u2019s really cool to see all of that. It\u2019s a lot of fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the Dodgers, winning back-to-back titles seems to lead to growing families.<\/p>\n
