{"id":677942,"date":"2026-04-17T22:33:41","date_gmt":"2026-04-17T22:33:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/677942\/"},"modified":"2026-04-17T22:33:41","modified_gmt":"2026-04-17T22:33:41","slug":"watch-heavy-snowfall-at-coors-field-in-video-ahead-of-dodgers-vs-rockies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/677942\/","title":{"rendered":"Watch Heavy Snowfall at Coors Field in Video Ahead of Dodgers vs. Rockies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Heavy snow was falling in Denver this afternoon ahead of the Colorado Rockies&#8217; home game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at 8:40 p.m. ET on Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Dodgers reporter David Vassegh, the host of &#8220;Dodger Talk&#8221; on AM 570 LA Sports, reported that the game was scheduled to start on time despite the snow.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">That may seem implausible given the weather, but meteorologist Kevin Roth gave a promising take.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Journalist Adrian Medina also noted a hopeful weather forecast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Dodgers beat writer Fredo Cervantes provided a look at the field, which featured groundskeepers clearing off the snow.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">This isn&#8217;t the first time snow has fallen in Denver when the Dodgers were in town. Groundskeepers <a class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-inherit MuiLink-root MuiLink-underlineAlways MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__ui__link__medium_strong css-lu48cp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/recap\/_\/gameId\/350510127\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">had to clear<\/a> four inches of snow on May 10 before L.A. played the Rockies. The Dodgers won the game 9-5.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">L.A. entered this series with the Rockies at an MLB-best 14-4.
