<\/p>\n BRUNSWICK, Maine \u2013 The Hamilton College Continentals split a non-conference doubleheader against the Bowdoin College Polar Bears on Friday, April 17 to begin a four-game series at Bowdoin’s Pickard Field. Hamilton tied its season high in runs during a 16-4 win in game one before the Polar Bears bounced back with a 5-0 win in the nightcap.

\n\tHamilton (11-13, 5-4 NESCAC West), which has seven neutral site wins, collected its first road victory of the season.
\n\tBowdoin (12-15, 3-6 NESCAC East) took one of three games at Trinity last weekend in its most recent NESCAC East Division series.

\n\tHamilton grabbed a 1-0 lead in the top of the first as Lucas Herman<\/a> ’26 drove in Gianni DiCerbo<\/a> ’27 with a single through the left side of the infield.
\n\tBowdoin scored two runs in the bottom of the first with the help of a solo home run by Will Bordes.
\n\tHamilton’s Satish Raichur<\/a> ’28 drove in Michael Tallarida<\/a> ’26 with a single through the right side in the third and tied the game at 2-2.
\n\tBowdoin’s Will Cooke and Conor Moriarty both scored in the bottom of the fifth and the Polar Bears established a 4-2 advantage.
\n\tThe Continentals tallied five runs in the sixth for a 7-4 lead. Edo Spadaccini<\/a> ’26 delivered an RBI single to cut the deficit in half, DiCerbo drove in two runs with a single to left field, and Tallarida doubled down the left field line to score DiCerbo and Chester Boynton<\/a> ’27.
\n\tHamilton’s Kenny Harten<\/a> ’29 recorded two strikeouts during a 1-2-3 bottom of the sixth, then the Continentals broke the game open with nine runs in the top of the seventh. Taylor Kaufman<\/a> ’26 capped the inning with a three-run triple.

\n\tHarten collected his first career win after allowing four hits with three strikeouts in 6.1 innings.
\n\tBordes contributed one hit, one run and one RBI for the Polar Bears.
\n\tDiCerbo finished with a career-high three runs, two hits, and a season high-tying three runs batted in.
\n\tKaufman drove in a season-high three runs.
\n\tHerman tied his career high of three hits for the third time this season.
\n\tNoa Oyadomari<\/a> ’29 drew a season-high two walks and scored a season-high three runs.
\n\tTallarida provided two hits, two RBIs and one run, while Ethan Righter<\/a> ’27 registered two hits, two runs, two stolen bases and one run batted in.

\n\tThe Polar Bears got on the board first with one run in the bottom of the second following a Reuben Siegel RBI single, then added four runs in the third for a 5-0 advantage. Bordes led off the bottom of the third with a solo home run, and Cooke provided an RBI double.
\n\tAnthony Palumbo<\/a> ’29 led off the seventh with a double down the left field line, but Bowdoin reliever Hugh Devine stranded him on base and completed the shutout.

\n\tNicholas Sticka<\/a> ’27 recorded his first hit of the season.
\n\tPalumbo tallied his fifth double of the season.
\n\tSam Humphries<\/a> ’28, Andrew Millington<\/a> ’28 and DiCerbo added one hit each for the Continentals.
\n\tHamilton’s William Rickens<\/a> ’29 tossed two scoreless innings in relief, while Tanner Quinn<\/a> ’27 and Luke Beyer<\/a> ’27 both delivered 1-2-3 innings in relief.
\n\tBordes registered two hits, one run and one RBI for Bowdoin.
\n\tBowdoin’s Jeremiah Chessie improved to 2-0 after striking out three with three hits and zero runs allowed in five innings of work.
