MIAMI \u2014 A big boost to the Miami Marlins\u2019 lineup will come Sunday at loanDepot park in the series finale against the Milwaukee Brewers at 1:40 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n
Manager Clayton McCullough told reporters prior to first pitch Saturday that outfielder Kyle Stowers will return and make his season debut.<\/p>\n
Stowers, who strained his right hamstring in Spring Training, made five rehab appearances with Triple-A Jacksonville.<\/p>\n
He was spotted in the clubhouse at loanDepot park on Saturday.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe got back-to-back nine-inning games,\u201d McCullough said. \u201cI think he came out of that feeling like he\u2019s in a really good spot physically. Also, I think mentally now he feels like, \u2018OK, I\u2019m kind of over this.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Stowers was Miami\u2019s lone All-Star in 2025, finishing the season with a .288 average, 25 home runs (team best) and 73 RBIs.<\/p>\n
He became the first Marlins outfielder to be named a National League All-Star since Giancarlo Stanton and Marcell Ozuna in 2017.<\/p>\n
A strained left oblique sidelined Stowers for the final stretch of the season, when the Marlins finished 79\u201383.<\/p>\n
\u201cGetting Kyle back in the lineup will really be a nice boost to help lengthen some things out,\u201d McCullough said. <\/p>\n
The Marlins will look to snap a three-game losing streak Saturday with their ace Sandy Alcantara on the mound, with a 4:10 p.m. ET first pitch. <\/p>\n
