Oracle Park was ranked as the best stadium in baseball.

“Oracle Park felt classic the day that it opened,” wrote Bleacher Report’s Tim Kelly. “Now that only 13 MLB stadiums are older than it, Oracle Park exemplifies a modern classic as baseball’s finest stadium.”

Oracle Park has become an iconic part of the city of San Francisco. Known for McCovey Cove, where fans in kayaks await home run balls that splash into the bay, Oracle Park has plenty of unique elements. There’s even a giant replica Coke bottle that appears to be pouring Coke into a baseball glove.

While Oracle Park was ranked in the top spot, it was not the only stadium that received its flowers from Bleacher Report.

National League Dominates Top Ten in Stadium Rankings

While Baltimore’s Oriole Park at Camden Yards finished in the No. 2 spot in the rankings, the top ten was mostly dominated by the NL, which placed eight of the top stadiums.

In third place was PNC Park.

“What makes PNC Park so special, though, is it has arguably the best view from behind home plate, ” wrote Kelly. “The yellow Robert Clemente Bridge beckons beyond the stadium above the Allegheny River.”

San Diego’s Petco Park was ranked fourth, with Kelly comparing it to Camden Yards.

“Petco Park strikes the perfect balance between paying homage to the working class, but also feeling like a place you can go party with your friends,” wrote Kelly.

Fenway Park, home to the iconic green monster, was the only other American League ballpark to crack the top ten of the rankings.

In sixth place was the historic Wrigley Field, which the Chicago Cubs have called home since 1916. The ivy in center field remains one of the most unique elements of any stadium.

Colorado’s Coors Field was ranked seventh.

“Whether it’s the shrubbery and fountains in center field, or the incredible sunsets, Coors Field continues to draw well based on its beauty, even with the Rockies likely headed for their fourth consecutive season of 100-plus losses,” wrote Kelly.

It is particularly impressive that the Rockies have ranked 15th and 16th in home attendance in the past two years, despite their bottom-dweller status in the NL West.

Dodger Stadium was the fourth NL West ballpark to be ranked among the top eight.

“The scenery leading you up to the stadium is incredible, and even if the path to your seat is a bit rocky, there’s such a simplistic feel to watching a game on a sunny day at Dodger Stadium,” wrote Kelly.

Truist Park in Atlanta ranked ninth, and Busch Stadium in St. Louis was ranked tenth. The NL also had the eleventh-ranked stadium, Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park.

Athletics Playing in the Worst Ballpark, as they await their new home

The Athletics will someday be playing in Las Vegas, but for now, they are in a Triple-A ballpark in Sacramento, and it was not surprising to see their home rank as the worst stadium in the MLB.

The worst actual big league ballpark in the rankings was Tropicana Field, which is once again the home of the Rays. Tropicana Field had its roof destroyed in a hurricane, preventing its use in 2025, but the Rays are back there in 2026.
