The Giants are playing better lately as they go for their fourth win in a row, after losing four straight for the second time this season. San Francisco is now 9-12 on the early season and is no longer in last place in the NL West. The Nationals have now dropped to the same 9-12 record, and counterintuitively, their problem has been at home, where they are just 1-7 at Nationals Park.
