Pitcher Osvaldo Bido has been claimed off waivers by the Chicago White Sox<\/a>. The Atlanta Braves had designated him for assignment on April 16, 2026.<\/p>\n

Bido, who pitched last season with the West Sacramento Athletics, has surfed across the waiver wire six times since the end of the 2025 season \u2013 including two stints with the Braves. He\u2019s gone from the A\u2019s to the Braves to Tampa Bay Rays<\/a> to the Miami Marlins<\/a> to the Los Angeles Angels<\/a> to the New York Yankees<\/a> then back to the Braves and now to the White Sox.<\/p>\n

The Braves designed Bido for assignment when they brought reliever Ian Hamilton<\/a> to the big league roster. Bido had pitched in six games for Atlanta, picking up a win and a save cross 10 innings. He allowed seven earned runs but had a respectful 1.20 WHIP.<\/p>\n
