Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Dalton Rushing said the Colorado Rockies took some “fishy” swings against relief pitcher Will Klein during a two-run sixth inning on Saturday, a suggestion that perhaps some pitches has been tipped.<\/p>\n

“I think it’s odd that some of those hitters that do what they do, they go up there and they’re on the first pitch that was thrown,” Rushing told reporters<\/a>. “It’s a little fishy but I’ll wear it.”<\/p>\n

All three hits Colorado had to start the inning came against breaking balls, but L.A. manager Dave Roberts suggested they simply weren’t great pitches.<\/p>\n

“I saw some bad breaking balls,” he told reporters. “So, I don’t think there was anything fishy behind it. I think there were some bad pitches.”<\/p>\n

It was a costly inning either way, as the Dodgers ultimately lost the game 4-3.
