The Boston Red Sox<\/a> dropped their second straight game to the Detroit Tigers<\/a> on Sunday at Fenway Park, falling 6-2 in a series that has exposed real problems across the roster. The offense has been unable to generate consistent production. The rotation has struggled to provide length. The mood inside Fenway reflected a team that knows it needs to find answers quickly.<\/p>\n

Anthony is one of the pieces the organization has built genuine excitement around. The ceiling is high. The talent has never been in question. Roman has had a slow start to the season by his standards, but recent trends suggest he is heading in the right direction.<\/p>\n

Anthony came into this season with enormous expectations and hit an early bump that brought real scrutiny. He did not shrink from it. He fixed it. The footwork is better. Cora said so himself.<\/p>\n
