Winn went 3-for-5 and finished the series with seven RBIs as the Cardinals extended their winning streak to five games.<\/p>\n
St. Louis jumped ahead in extra innings, and Houston threatened in the bottom of the 10th with the tying run on base before Christian Walker grounded into a fielder\u2019s choice to end the game.<\/p>\n
Riley O\u2019Brien (3-0) earned the win in relief, while Gordon Graceffo recorded the final out for his first save of the season.<\/p>\n
The Cardinals completed their first three-game sweep in Houston since April 2004 and improved to 5-0 in extra-inning games this season.<\/p>\n
Houston rallied late, erasing a 4-1 deficit in the eighth inning behind a home run from Yordan Alvarez and a two-run single by Isaac Paredes.<\/p>\n
Michael Liberatore allowed one run over six innings in the start for St. Louis, while Astros starter Mike Burrows struck out seven but was tagged for four runs.<\/p>\n
Jordan Walker extended his hitting streak to 14 games with a hit in the win.<\/p>\n
The Astros have now lost four straight and 12 of their last 14 games.<\/p>\n
