Kansas City Royals<\/a> fans are frustrated with their team right now. The Royals dropped yet another game<\/a> on Monday, to the Baltimore Orioles at home. Some Kansas City fans rained down boos on the team, as the Royals dropped the contest 7-5 in extras.<\/p>\n

Royals star Bobby Witt Jr<\/a>. is opening up about hearing that frustration<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah it sucks. But if you’re the worst team in baseball, you might deserve to get booed every once in a while. It should motivate us to get better. Just motivate us to go out there and lay it all on the field each and every night,\u201d Witt said after the game, per The Kansas City Star.<\/p>\n

Kansas City is now just 7-16 on the season following the loss. The Royals have dropped eight of their last 10 games.<\/p>\n

Royals are searching for answers<\/p>\n

It wasn’t supposed to be like this for Kansas City. The Royals put forth a lot of effort over the offseason<\/a> to improve the club, after a somewhat disappointing 2025 campaign.<\/p>\n

The club is just struggling to get the offense going. Against Baltimore, the Royals had plenty of opportunities<\/a> to pick up a win.<\/p>\n

\u201cKansas City stranded 11 baserunners in the first six innings and 16 for the game. The Royals outhit the Orioles 14-6,\u201d the Associated Press reported.<\/p>\n

Witt refuses to accept the current results. The club is currently last in the AL Central, and none of the players expected that before the year got going<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou look back two months ago, month ago, no one in here would believe we\u2019re technically the worst team in baseball. We believe in each and every one in here. \u2026 It\u2019s frustrating. Sucks. It\u2019s one of those things where we got to be better,\u201d Witt said, per MLB.com.<\/p>\n

Kansas City will try and go for a win when they play the Orioles again on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
