On Tuesday night, the San Francisco Giants<\/a> will play the Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a> (at home) for the first game of their series.<\/p>\n

They are coming off a 3-0 loss to the Nationals<\/a> in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

Giants Announce Roster Move Before Dodgers Game\"\"<\/p>\n

Before Tuesday\u2019s game, the Giants<\/a> announced that they made several roster moves.<\/p>\n

One of those moves involved calling up Eric Haase<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He is currently batting<\/a> .250 with two home runs and eight RBI\u2019s in his first nine games of the Triple-A season.<\/p>\n

The <\/a>Giants<\/a> wrote (via X):<\/a> \u201cThe #SFGiants made the following roster moves today: \u2022 C Daniel Susac<\/a> placed on the 10-day injured list with right elbow ulnar neuritis (retro to April 20). \u2022 C Eric Haase (#18) selected from Triple-A Sacramento. \u2022 RHP Jos\u00e9 Butt\u00f3<\/a> transferred to the 60-day Injured List.\u201d<\/p>\n

The #SFGiants<\/a> made the following\u00a0roster\u00a0moves today:

Haase\u2019s MLB Career<\/p>\n

Haase was picked in the seventh round of the 2011 MLB<\/a> Draft.<\/p>\n

He is coming off a season where he appeared in 30 games for the Milwaukee Brewers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Over part of eight MLB seasons, Haase has also had stints with the Detroit Tigers<\/a> and Cleveland Guardians<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He is batting .228 with 48 home runs, 160 RBI\u2019s, 134 runs and six stolen bases in 383 career games.<\/p>\n

His best season came in 2021 when he hit 22 home runs for the Tigers.<\/p>\n

Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area wrote:<\/a> \u201cDaniel Susac went on the IL with right elbow ulnar neuritis. Eric Haase is up as the backup catcher\u201d<\/p>\n

Giants Right Now<\/p>\n

The Giants<\/a> come into Tuesday\u2019s game as the fourth-place team in the National League West with a 9-13 record in 22 games.<\/p>\n

They are 3-7 in the ten games they have played at home in San Francisco.<\/p>\n

Following the Dodgers, the Giants<\/a> will play their next series on Friday when they host the Miami Marlins<\/a>.<\/p>\n
