{"id":681365,"date":"2026-04-22T22:28:47","date_gmt":"2026-04-22T22:28:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/681365\/"},"modified":"2026-04-22T22:28:47","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T22:28:47","slug":"al-west-check-in-texas-rangers-of-goes-on-10-day-il","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/681365\/","title":{"rendered":"AL West Check-In: Texas Rangers OF goes on 10-day IL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) \u2014 Texas Rangers outfielder Wyatt Langford is going on the injured list with a Grade 1 flexor strain after exiting his last game because of right forearm tightness.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sports.mynorthwest.com\/mlb\/seattle-mariners\/seattle-mariners-logan-gilbert-catch-jersey\/1846500\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mariners\u2019 Logan Gilbert catches ball in jersey \u2014 and it\u2019s not an out<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Manager Skip Schumaker said before Wednesday\u2019s game against Pittsburgh that Langford was being placed on the 10-day injured list, and that the Rangers don\u2019t expect him to miss any more time than that.<\/p>\n<p>Langford, who had an MRI on Wednesday, is hitting .238 with one homer and four RBIs through 20 games.
