Michael Harris II<\/a> got some much-needed support from the home crowd upon his return from injury and his game-winning highlight in the Atlanta Braves’ win over the Philadelphia Phillies<\/a> on Friday night.<\/p>\n

Harris is going through the fifth season of his professional career in the majors, all with the Braves. He has been making solid progress as he shines as a full-time starter and an effective hitter in the offense.<\/p>\n

Harris has been dealing with an injury the day prior but fought through it to take part in this game. He came through with a major highlight for Atlanta in the bottom of the sixth inning, getting a two-run pinch hit double to give his squad the final lead of the night. He reflected on the play<\/a> after the game with reporter Tricia Whitaker, thanking the home fans for helping him out to make the play.<\/p>\n

Michael Harris II showed his toughness by fighting through the pain, getting the Braves the solid win over the Phillies.<\/p>\n
