On Saturday evening, the New York Yankees<\/a> will continue their series with the Houston Astros<\/a> in Texas.<\/p>\n

They are in the middle of a seven-game winning streak, most recently beating the Astros by a score of 12-4 on Friday.<\/p>\n

Giancarlo Stanton<\/a> finished Friday\u2019s victory with one hit and one RBI in three at-bats.<\/p>\n

However, he exited early with an injury.<\/p>\n

Brendan Kuty of The Athletic wrote (during Friday\u2019s game):<\/a> \u201cAnnouncement here is that Giancarlo Stanton left tonight\u2019s game with right lower leg tightness.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stanton is not in the lineup, but he shared a positive update when he met with the media.<\/p>\n

While Stanton is far from his prime at 36, he is still a very important part of the team\u2019s lineup.<\/p>\n

He is coming off a season where he batted .273 with 24 home runs in just 77 games.<\/p>\n

The five-time All-Star had spent the first eight years of his career playing for the Miami Marlins<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Phillips also reported:<\/a> \u201cWith regards to Giancarlo Stanton, Aaron Boone said that the #Yankees will let the next several hours play out before deciding if this is an IL or day-to-day situation. He also said that no one from Triple-A is currently on the way to Houston.\u201d<\/p>\n
