Matt Vierling\u2019s double tied the game and Payamps walked Hao-Yu Lee. Aaron Bummer relieved and walked Kevin McGonigle, and Torres\u2019 fly ball drove in Vierling for a 3-2 lead.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Detroit, which got back to .500 at 16-16, added two runs in the ninth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Jos\u00e9 Suarez walked pinch-hitter <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/i\/status\/2049925452802687009\" rel=\"nofollow\">Wenceel P\u00e9rez,<\/a> who scored when left fielder Mike Yastrzemski bobbled Vierling\u2019s third hit for an error. After Suarez walked Hao-Yu Lee, Dillon Dingler\u2019s double to drove in Vierling as Lee was thrown out at the plate on shortstop Mauricio Dub\u00f3n\u2019s relay to Drake Baldwin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Eli White and Dub\u00f3n singled in runs off left-hander Framber Valdez for a 2-0 lead. The Braves clinched the series on Wednesday night when <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/braves-tigers-score-olson-cda59622657f49b4f6a171aa3deb909a?utm_source=copy&amp;utm_medium=share\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Matt Olson\u2019s two-run homer<\/a> off Kenley Jansen in the ninth provided a 4-3 win.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Drew Anderson (1-0) pitched two scoreless innings. One day after Jansen\u2019s third blown save in nine chances, right-hander Kyle Finnegan pitched the ninth for his first save.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Riley Greene, who reached on his second walk, scored on <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/i\/status\/2049909054068183388\" rel=\"nofollow\">Vierling\u2019s single<\/a> off Bryce Elder in the sixth for Detroit\u2019s first run.
