Vogt complimented the quality of the Australians at bats pre-game despite him being hitless.<\/p>\n
That confidence from his manager seemed to settle Bazzana, but it was natural to start to feel like he needed to tick off the milestone.<\/p>\n
\u201cHonestly, the first three games I didn\u2019t really feel any extra pressure,\u201d said Bazzana after the Guardians\u2019 14-6 win over the A\u2019s on Saturday. <\/p>\n
\u201cI was having really good at-bats.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cAfter the first at-bat (against the Athletics), you start to notice that it\u2019s getting a little long.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bazzana stepped up the MLB after a promising season for the Guardians\u2019 minor league affiliate Colombus.<\/p>\n
He also starred for Australia at the recent World Baseball Classic, including scoring a solo home run against world No.2 Chinese Taipei. <\/p>\n
Bazzana has the chance to play a big role for the remainder of the season as the Guardians sit on top of the American League\u2019s Central Division.<\/p>\n
