After his work was done, the rookie pitcher started walking back to the dugout. However, he also identified the location of one of the MASN cameras, stared right down the barrel, and appeared to say, \u201cIt\u2019s a boy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While that\u2019s a pretty odd thing to say after pitching an inning, Orioles announcer Kevin Brown offered an explanation.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Baltimore Orioles pitcher Anthony Nunez with the rare mid-inning gender reveal to his family watching at home. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/YMwvwoYGc7\" rel=\"nofollow\">https:\/\/t.co\/YMwvwoYGc7<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/xTIPjTZUES\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/xTIPjTZUES<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Awful Announcing (@awfulannouncing) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/awfulannouncing\/status\/2053604574846738818?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">May 10, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnthony is mouthing \u2018it\u2019s a boy\u2019 for some family members,\u201d said Brown. \u201cHis brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Makayla Delgado, are expecting child No. 3. And that, folks, is one of the most creative gender reveals you\u2019ll ever see. Anthony had the answer, Danny and Makayla did not know, and I hope that you two are watching.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s what I call multitasking there,\u201d added commentator Ben McDonald. \u201cThere\u2019s no way I would have thought to do that after getting out of that situation. That would have been the last thing on my mind, to be honest with you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow that\u2019s a Mother\u2019s Day gift there,\u201d added Brown.<\/p>\n<p>Congrats to the Delgados and congrats to Nunez on helping Baltimore seal the victory.
