The Merrimack High School alum went 3-for-4 with the Sox’ only RBI in a 4-1 loss to Tampa.After an off day, he reflected on his first big league game of the year with News 9.>> Download the free WMUR app to get updates on the go <<“I like to think that it gives people, especially kids up there (in New Hampshire), hope that they can do it, too,” Gasper said. “It’s just about how long you want to work for it, how long you want to persevere and commit to something.”Gasper said he had a few of his youth coaches from the Granite State at Fenway Park on Sunday, and he talked on the phone with his parents, who now live in New Jersey, after the game. “It’s really special,” Gasper said. “To be playing between the lines of Fenway Park after these people have put so much energy and love into my life and really pushed me forward and guided me in the right direction.”\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
