Depending on the severity, Beavers could potentially be out for an extended period of time. In the very least, he is likely headed for the IL.<\/p>\n<p>If Beavers is out, expect Cowser to receive the bulk of the reps in center field. Cowser is hitting just .178 with a .479 OPS in 35 games this season. He has yet to go deep this year.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Beavers is slashing .243\/.331\/.369 with a .700 OPS, two home runs and 12 RBI in 33 games this season. Despite the fact that these numbers are average, Beavers was heating up as of late. In his last seven games, the lefty swinger was hitting .350\/.458\/.550. Beavers has been batting .283 with a .855 OPS in his last 15 games overall.<\/p>\n<p>He made his major league debut in August of last season.
