BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WAND) – With plenty of talented teams across central Illinois closing out the high school baseball regular season, the IHSA has revealed the slate for the spring playoffs.<\/p>\n

The 2025 state finals saw a pair of local programs go toe-to-toe for a state championship, as Sacred Heart-Griffin edged out Teutopolis, 5-4, to claim the top prize in 2A<\/a>. Pawnee also won their final game of the season in 1A, placing a respectable 3rd with a 9-4 victory over Lexington.<\/p>\n

Now, as preparations are made for the run to the 2026 title, teams are priming themselves for the most grueling stretch of the season. When the first pitch is thrown in regionals, every game is win or go home.<\/p>\n
