Two Vols listed as MLB draft top 150 prospects<\/p>\n

The Major League Baseball draft<\/a> will take place July 11\u201313 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The White Sox have the No. 1 overall pick, followed by Tampa Bay (2), Minnesota (3), San Francisco (4) and Pittsburgh (5) in the top five.<\/p>\n

The Giants and manager Tony Vitello<\/a> also have the No. 29 overall pick in the competitive balance round A.<\/p>\n

MLB.com<\/a> released the top 150 draft prospects, including two Vols.<\/p>\n

Tennessee right-handed pitcher Tegan Kuhns<\/a> is listed as the No. 43 overall prospect, while third baseman Henry Ford<\/a> is also projected as the No. 137 overall prospect.<\/p>\n

UCLA<\/a> shortstop Roch Cholowsky is listed as the top MLB draft prospect and Alabama<\/a> shortstop Justin Lebron is the highest ranked player from the SEC (No. 5 overall).<\/p>\n

45 Tennessee baseball players have been selected in the MLB draft since 2020. Nine former Vols were drafted in 2025, including four first-round picks and eight selections during the first three rounds.<\/p>\n

52 Tennessee players have also been drafted since 2018.<\/p>\n
