The Cleveland Guardians<\/a> are sticking with the “Cincinnati isn’t in Ohio” rhetoric with a new post<\/a> via the team’s official Twitter\/X account, ahead of their three-game series<\/a> May 15-17 at Progressive Field.<\/p>\n

The video includes several Guardians’ players talking about how they believe Cincinnati to be somewhere in Kentucky.<\/p>\n

“The Reds come back in state this weekend,” reads the caption.<\/p>\n

In May 2025, the\u00a0Reds’ official Twitter\/X account seized an opportunity to avenge a months-old jab from the\u00a0Guardians account with a tweet that followed a\u00a0three-game sweep<\/a>\u00a0at Great American Ball Park of their in-state, American League counterpart.<\/p>\n

The Reds\u00a0tweeted a photo<\/a>\u00a0of a T-shirt that read, “Got swept in Cincinnati, OH,” with the caption, “Y’all want some new shirts, @CleGuardians?”<\/p>\n

In September 2024,\u00a0“Cincinnati is in Kentucky”<\/a>\u00a0was edited onto shirts showing Guardians players celebrating after a win over the Reds and shared on the team’s official page.<\/p>\n
