Manager Dave Roberts commended his \u201cwill and determination.\u201d Even Padres closer Mason Miller, the pitcher on the other side, tipped his cap: \u201cOutstanding job by him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Dodgers\u2019 <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/gameday\/dodgers-vs-padres\/2026\/05\/19\/823302\/final\/box\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">5-4 comeback victory<\/a> was sealed with a nine-pitch battle between Pages and Miller. He accomplished the feat in the Red Sox\u2019s 8-3 win over Toronto.<\/p>\n<p>2009 \u2014 Nick Swisher, Robinson Cano and Melky Cabrera hit consecutive home runs for the New York Yankees in an 11-4 victory over Baltimore. All three solo shots to right field came in the second inning off Orioles starter Jeremy Guthrie \u2014 with two strikes.<\/p>\n<p>2011 \u2014 The Chicago Cubs make their first visit to Fenway Park since the 1918 World Series.<\/p>\n<p>2018 \u2014 Rookie Jordan Hicks of the Cardinals ties Aroldis Chapman\u2019s record for the fastest pitch ever recorded by pumping a couple of fastballs at 105 mph while facing Odubel Herrera of the Phillies.
