Kumar Rocker has over<\/a> an 11.00 ERA in the first inning of games this year and the Rangers have decided to do something about it.<\/p>\n

The decision to go with an opener Tuesday night against the Rockies paid off<\/a>, with Kumar Rocker pitching 7.2 innings of shutout out ball on the way to a 10-0 win.<\/p>\n

Nobody knows<\/a> why Rocker has been having so many problems in the first inning, and maybe the opener didn\u2019t change anything about the outcome of the game.<\/p>\n
