KSTP Sports was a recent Farmington high school baseball practice and spoke with long-time head coach Jon Graff and senior pitcher\/outfielder Brodie Gibart.<\/p>\n
With a 21-1 regular season record, the Tigers are poised to make a deep postseason run. They open section play Monday afternoon vs. Rochester John Marshall. Farmington is the 1-seed in Section 1AAAA.<\/p>\n

Farmington is trying to make the state tournament for the fifth time in the last six years. They captured the championship in 2021, something Graff and Gibart feel can surely be repeated this year.<\/p>\n
Of Farmington\u2019s 21 wins, eight came by at least 10 runs.<\/p>\n
Its one loss came in mid-April vs. Prior Lake in a 2-1 game. Farmington only surrendered one hit in the loss.<\/p>\n
Gibart will pitch for Augustana in Sioux Falls next year, Graff is the all-time winningest coach in Farmington baseball history. He\u2019s been associated with the program since 1997 and took over as head coach ahead of the 2014 season.<\/p>\n
