Muhlenberg claims Class 6A crownIn Class 6A, Muhlenberg broke open its championship game against Chambersburg with four runs in the second inning and rolled to a 10-0 win in six innings.The title was Muhlenberg\u2019s first since 2008.  Lampeter-Strasburg repeats in Class 5AIn Class 5A, Lampeter-Strasburg defended its district crown with a 6-5 victory over Lower Dauphin.Lower Dauphin tied the game at 4 in the fourth inning, but Lampeter-Strasburg answered in the fifth when James Wood hit a solo home run over the right-field wall to put the Pioneers back in front, 5-4.Wood later added an RBI single in the sixth to provide an insurance run.  \u201cI mean, I love those moments,\u201d Wood said. \u201cI just feel like I just turn up then and just love being there and doing it for the team.\u201dNorthern Lebanon wins first district titleIn Class 4A, Northern Lebanon defeated East Pennsboro 7-1 to secure the first district baseball title in program history.After East Pennsboro trimmed the deficit to 3-1 in the second inning, Northern Lebanon answered in the fourth. Adrian Gonzalez drove in a run as part of a five-RBI performance and also threw a complete game on the mound.  \u201cIt\u2019s a crazy feeling, especially since it\u2019s the first one in our school history,\u201d Gonzalez said. \u201cIt\u2019s just great to be a part of it my last year in high school.\u201d  Northern Lebanon\u2019s coach said the title was the product of months of effort.  \u201cA long season, a lot of hard work, and it paid off,\u201d Northern Lebanon head coach Travis Thome said. \u201cThe guys showed up every day, and this was one of our goals in the beginning of the year. It feels great to get it done.\u201d  Trinity captures first Class 3A championshipIn Class 3A, Trinity rallied past Bermudian Springs 2-1 to win its first district title. Bermudian Springs took a 1-0 lead in the first inning, but Trinity responded in the fifth.Chase Portillo drove in the tying run, and Garreth Calder later beat out a throw to first on an infield hit, allowing the go-ahead run to score.  \u201cIt\u2019s amazing,\u201d Calder said. \u201cEverybody just gelled real fast. We all came together like one family.\u201d  Trinity\u2019s coach said the team stayed focused after a slow start.  \u201cThese guys have showed up day in and day out all fall, all winter,\u201d Trinity head coach Teed Wertz  said. \u201cWe started the season 2-3, but nobody got rattled.
