Ohtani left after grounding out in the fifth. He was 0 for 2 with a run scored in the team&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/rockies-dodgers-score-d1e52ff0c550adf156ad99b07d39bdd7\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">16-5 win<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Manager Dave Roberts said the ball mostly hit the pad on Ohtani&#8217;s hand before clipping his pinkie finger.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe&#8217;re in a good spot,\u201d he said, adding that given the Dodgers&#8217; big lead he wanted Ohtani to rest ahead of his scheduled mound start in the series finale on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI haven&#8217;t decided yet if he&#8217;s going to hit,\u201d Roberts said. \u201cI just want to kind of make sure how he comes in and physically how he feels because I want to make sure he feels really good on the pitching side of things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>AP MLB: <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/hub\/mlb\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/apnews.com\/hub\/mlb<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n                Success!
