They’ve been playing Major League Baseball in Cleveland<\/a> for 125 years.<\/p>\n

No one has ever suffered the fate of Tanner Bibee<\/a>, which he is currently dealing with as part of the Guardians’ 2026 rotation.<\/p>\n

Bibee has gone 13 starts and still doesn’t have a win in his record.<\/p>\n

That’s an infamous first:<\/p>\n

Bibee didn’t waste any time trending in a bad direction on Sunday against the Boston Red Sox<\/a>. He allowed a leadoff home run.<\/p>\n

The long ball has victimized him more this season than ever before, and if he doesn’t turn that trend around, nothing great is going to happen with his record.<\/p>\n

Of course, the Guardians could always choose to have big run support on one of Bibee’s start days, but that hasn’t aligned enough to get him a ‘W’ yet.<\/p>\n

Bibee hasn’t been bad enough for the Guardians to remove him from the rotation. He was supposed to be one of their top dogs on the mound.<\/p>\n

But right now, things aren’t going great. The Guardians and Bibee need things to turn around on the days he gets the ball, because right now, he’s on a historically negative run.<\/p>\n
