The Aggies were thrashed by USC\u00a014-3<\/a> in Sunday night’s Game 6 of the College Station Regional to force Game 7\u00a0Monday night in\u00a0the NCAA Tournament<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If the Trojans win, they will advance to the Chapel Hill Super Regional; if A&M wins, it will travel east to North Carolina.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A&M played steadily throughout the weekend, beating Lamar<\/a> Friday 7-5 and Texas State<\/a> Saturday 17-2.\u00a0USC battled its way back to the winners bracket after being upset by Texas State 5-4<\/a> Friday night. The Trojans beat Lamar and avenged its loss to Texas State to keep its season alive before giving the Aggies a loss.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Tar Heels won all three games; an 8-0 victory over VCU and two games against East Carolina 7-5 and 9-3.
