He struck out five without a walk.<\/p>\n<p>The Marlins trailed 3-1 before scoring three runs in the sixth. After pinch-hitter Heriberto Hern\u00e1ndez tied it with a two-run homer, Miami went ahead on Connor Norby\u2019s RBI double off Richard Lovelady (2-3). Avila is replacing left-hander Kris Bubic, who is sidelined with arm issues.<\/p>\n<p>Jac Caglianone hit a two-run home run, his sixth of the season, in the fifth and Michael Massey added a solo homer in the seventh, both off Reds lefty Brandon Leibrandt.<\/p>\n<p>Leibrandt gave the Reds\u2019 injury-riddled bullpen a boost by pitching six innings, allowing five earned runs on 10 hits.<\/p>\n<p class=\"uiTextSmall f aic jcc\">Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n<p>MINNEAPOLIS (AP) \u2014 Tristan Gray hit a grand slam in the fourth inning and Minnesota added four more runs in the fifth on the way to a win over Chicago.<\/p>\n<p>The Twins snapped a five-game losing streak. The White Sox had their five-game winning streak halted.<\/p>\n<p>Gray\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Twins\/status\/2061612641659896135?s=20\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow\">384-foot shot<\/a> over the wall in right field \u2014 his second career grand slam and first since the Twins\u2019 home opener on April 3 \u2014 gave Minnesota a 5-1 lead it never surrendered.<\/p>\n<p>Trevor Larnach hit an RBI single in the first to get the Twins on the board. LOUIS (AP) \u2014 Jacob deGrom tossed five scoreless innings to earn his 100th career win and Ezequiel Duran had three hits as Texas beat St. Louis.<\/p>\n<p>A two-time NL Cy Young Award winner, the 37-year-old deGrom (4-4) allowed four hits and struck out eight in his fourth attempt at the milestone victory. The right-hander went 1-3 with a 5.72 ERA in five May starts and has not won this season when allowing multiple runs.<\/p>\n<p>Jacob Latz pitched a perfect ninth for his eighth save to help the Rangers win their fourth straight game.<\/p>\n<p>Michael McGreevy (3-5) gave up two runs on five hits and two walks in six innings after yielding eight runs in nine innings over his previous two starts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"uiTextSmall f aic jcc\">Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n<p>DIAMONDBACKS 4, DODGERS 1<\/p>\n<p>PHOENIX (AP) \u2014 Ketel Marte launched a two-run homer, Nolan Arenado and rookie Tommy Troy hit solo shots and Arizona rallied for a win over Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>The Dodgers lost for just the fourth time in 18 games. Shohei Ohtani had a three-hit night and has 10 hits over his last five games.<\/p>\n<p>Arenado gave the D-backs a 2-1 lead in the seventh inning, hammering his eighth homer of the season to left-center. Marte tacked on his two-out, no-doubt homer in the eighth to give Arizona some welcome insurance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"uiTextSmall f aic jcc\">Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n<p>It was Marte\u2019s 10th longball of the year. Paul Sewald worked the ninth for his 15th save in 16 opportunities after Taylor Clarke (2-1) pitched a scoreless seventh for the win.<\/p>\n<p>Eduardo Rodr\u00edguez contined his stellar season for Arizona with six innings of one-run ball. The lefty gave up five hits and a walk, striking out three, and has a 2.24 ERA through 12 starts.<\/p>\n<p>Dodgers right-hander Emmet Sheehan (3-2) allowed two runs and three hits over 6 1\/3 innings, striking out three. The walk-off victory was Seattle\u2019s third in four games as the Mariners (32-29) improved to a season-best three games over .500.<\/p>\n<p>With one out in the bottom of the 10th, Young flared a single to left field off reliever A.J. (AP) \u2014 TJ Rumfield hit a go-ahead sacrifice fly in the ninth inning and Colorado used a five-run eighth to rally past Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>Hunter Goodman put Colorado ahead 8-6 with a three-run homer in the eighth. Jake McCarthy homered earlier for the Rockies, who have won more games this season (23) than they did before the All-Star break last year.<\/p>\n<p>Jorge Soler\u2019s two-run triple for the Angels tied it 8-all in the bottom of the eighth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"uiTextSmall f aic jcc\">Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n<p>McCarthy doubled in the ninth to move Kyle Karros to third before Rumfield drove him home with a sac fly to right field for a 9-8 lead.
