SMYRNA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) \u2014 Three Atlanta Braves employees have worked every home game across three different stadiums, witnessing decades of baseball history.<\/p>\n
Terry Weems started ushering at age 13 in 1972. He was working for Hank Aaron\u2019s record-breaking night.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was in section 109, right behind the dugout.\u201d<\/p>\n
Greeter Linda McGee started because her mom didn\u2019t like her playing softball.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe said, \u2018Girls don\u2019t do that,\u2019\u201d McGee recalled.<\/p>\n
Supervising usher Robert Bryant started as a temporary job.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis was a six-week proposition for me,\u201d Bryant said. \u201cI relocated to Atlanta in 1990 to be the band director at an APS school.\u201d<\/p>\n
The three employees recall the family atmosphere of old Fulton County Stadium, saying they still drive by on occasion.<\/p>\n
\u201cOh, all the time,\u201d McGee said. \u201cAll the time. That place was so much fun.\u201d<\/p>\n
They saw the Braves win it all in 1995 and lose it all in 1996.<\/p>\n
When it came time to move to Turner Field, they were there to keep the place together.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe caught a couple of gentlemen in the restroom trying to stuff chairs in their clothes,\u201d Bryant said, saying the ruse didn\u2019t fool anyone.<\/p>\n
Through the years, employee awards have piled up, and memories have been made.<\/p>\n
So, what could possibly be next?<\/p>\n
\u201cMore baseball!\u201d McGee said.<\/p>\n
\u201cMore rings!\u201d Bryant said.<\/p>\n
