The quality of contact allowed by Brito will be an area that he will need to work on to return to the big leagues, as five of 11 balls in play against him registered over 95 mph. Salas DH\u2019d once more, as he has done for the last few Wednesdays; San Antonio has taken their time with getting Salas everyday reps, and he has not caught more than five games a week this season. Ryan Jackson hit a single in four at-bats, with his base hit setting up a scoring chance in the first inning. The first \u201ccity\u201d in this case is the first four innings, as the right-hander did not allow a run across the first four frames. Miralles only gave up three hits in the first four innings, but the fifth inning was a different experience. The fifth inning was a case of whiplash by comparison, as the four batters he faced in the frame went as follows: double, sacrifice + throwing error, walk, three-run home run. Miralles\u2019 outing was still one to build from, as the right-hander pitched his longest outing by innings since May 13 against Cedar Rapids. Castro has been a wonderful story to watch for the Storm faithful, and we very well may have just seen his magnum opus to date. Castro took the mound against a potent Ontario lineup, and overpowered the power lineup. The 18-year old struck out 12 batters, a season-best for any member of the Storm starting rotation. Castro picked up a Single-A daily high of 16 whiffs, and his sinker registered as high as 94-95 mph with devastating movement. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/register\/player.fcgi?id=falter000nic&amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=eastvillagetimes.com&amp;utm_campaign=2026-06-11_br\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Nick Falter<\/a> threw 2.1 innings of relief, allowing no runs. Falter has been an invaluable part of the Storm bullpen, leading the relief corps in innings pitched and ERA. Vicarte Domingo struck out two in two innings of one-run baseball, sealing the win.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Billy, this is Jesus A. Kerrington Cross had a two-run double in the seventh inning, also pulling off two successful stolen base attempts. Cross also drew two walks, scoring two runs for the Storm. Luke Cantwell had two hits, including an RBI double to give the Storm the lead in the fourth inning.
